...is my favorite season. It's full of warm food, cozy sweaters, and changing colors.
...Thought Catalog...
.. This is one of my new favorite websites! Thought Catalog

I just turned 26 years old, and well let's just say I was less
than thrilled. Heading into my "Mid to Late
Twenties" was never something I was looking forward to. Luckily I pretty
much have my life in order, as well as possible that is, but I don’t know what I want
to be doing in 5 years, let alone 10-20 years from now. On a random surf session I stumbled on this article and suddenly felt a sense of comradely. Other people were feeling
the same way that I was and understood the stage in my life I had now
entered. Oh! and the article is Hilarious!!!
Here are some of my other favorite articles!

...THIS scarf...
... so trying to get all fit and healthy for my upcoming wedding (only 9 months to go), and today I got a Lulu Lemon email for their new fall line, logically I had to check it out! Every girl needs accessories for all life activities, including working out!
While looking through the Lulu Lemon website, I stumbled across this awesome scarf! It's call the Vinyasa Scarf and it comes in a few colors.

But the thing that really sold me on this scarf was all the ways that you can wear it!!! See below!
...one day at a time...
...is my new motto!
I find myself worrying
that if I accomplish my goals for today, that I MAY fail tomorrow. Key word in that sentence is MAY. I might not
reach my goals tomorrow, resulting in ruining everything I have done today.
Truth is I probably talk myself out of doing
well today, by convincing myself that I will fail tomorrow.
So, my new goal
is to take each day as it comes, one day at a time.
...May Designs....
...So, I have always loved Journals. I would get lost in
Barnes & Nobles for hours, and always right before I checked out, I would
find a new journal or notebook that I HAD TO HAVE (normally with a matching pen
or bookmark)!
You can customize the front of the book with your text and color selection,
as well as pick from a LONG list of interior page options!
May Designs is definitely one of my go-to gifts, always guaranteed
to bright up any desk!
P.S. They have customizable Stationary, Invites, & Note Cards.

...Mexican food...
Day two of my three day juice cleanse, and I woke up thinking of Mexican food!
A debate my BF and I will never finish...What is the better Mexican food... American Mexican (east coast) or authentic Mexican (west coast)?
This all started when I was going out to Seattle (BF's hometown) for the first time. I was told that I was going to get great Mexican food, almost as good as CA, and "WAY" better than NY. So as you could imagine I was very excited/half insulted, I thought NY Mexican was pretty good! Quesadillas are a food group for me....
So what is your favorite type of Mexican, American Mexican (east coast) or authentic Mexican (west coast)? And if you don't know what I'm talking about...you haven't tried enough Mexican food! Margarita’s anyone?!
A few of my favorite recipes...
Guacamole
Black Bean Quesadilla
Pico de Gallo
...deep breath...
... It's Monday, summer is officially over, and this past weekend, though nice was not as relaxing as I'd hoped...
Sometimes I have to remind myself to take a deep breath and just relax. I need to enjoy the world around me and all the kind loving people that surround me!
I have made a wonderful life for myself but, sometimes I let other people get me down.
The negativity of people who are not happy with themselves is hard to brush off, especially when they are people close to you. So after a quick Google Search, I found the below article. It helped make my Monday a little bit easier.
...Friday meeting...
Nothing like a 9am meeting on a Friday to get the blood flowing! And with the BIG boss, none the less!

…beauty boxes…
...I have to say I was a little turned off to the idea of beauty boxes when I
first started looking into them. I thought either I wasn't going to get samples
that I wanted/would use and it was going to turn into another wasted $20 a
month...something I certainly do not need!
But then this past weekend, on a trip to Chelsea Market, Birch Box had a pop up store and I could not resist! (Especially because they had the Beauty Blender and I have been dying for one!)
I had a blast picking out five samples, some even full size!
So will I become a beauty box believer?! Possibly! I am going to start looking into the other companies that offer the service and see what looks the best!
Do you have a recommendation? Let me know!

...juicing...
...one of my favorite things, that I never have time to do, is juice cleansing.
My favorite is Blue Print. I really like the taste of their green juices, which is very important because they are 4 out of 6 juices per day. You also really (I mean really) have to like water and tea! Without water and tea you feel kind of empty...the water helps to fill you up!
I find that if I have warm lemon-water in the morning, then alternate between a juice and a bottle of water, followed by a hot tea before bed, I am not hungry at all!
You may have heard about so side effects. Mine were minor headaches, slight bloating & sluggishness. BUT (big "but" here) the side effects are nothing short of an annoyance compared to the results!
I had more energy. I was in a wonderful mood. And I simply felt lighter!!
We'll see if I get time to even order it! If not my great alternative is buying the first few days at whole foods while I wait for the last couple days from Blue Print, enough of my blabbing on... Go check it out!! )
...morning (quick) make-up...
I'm sure every women in the world has this down to a science... Fast morning make-up application!
Here's what mine looks like...
1) apply base (we don't need to see that before photo!)
2) eye shadow
...dinner parties...
...sometimes planned well in advance and sometimes spur of the moment, dinner parties have become a fun side hobby of mine!
A few things I think elevate a dinner party...
1) Cloth Napkins - I get the cheap ones, practically disposable
2) Water Pitcher at the Table - so no one has to get up to refill
3) Cheese Plate - never make guests wait for a first bite
4) Candles - maybe this is just me but it makes the environment feel more magical
5) Games - my bf and I could talk forever, but it's also fun to no just talk about the same stuff every time
We just had a family dinner party last night (bf's parents & my sister) here are some snap shots...
...sleep...
I think we are all addicted to sleep... But when it starts turning into fall and it's not that bright in the mornings anymore.... Man that is when I just can't seem to get out of bed!
Well good thing for the weekends!
