Happy Easter!

All I can think about right now is the week ending and heading home for the holiday. 

It feels like everyone (and my mother) has off today. I shouldn't complain, my office is closing at 3pm, but I will!! 

I am looking forward to clear PA sky's, shopping with my mom (at Anthropologie & Target), and hanging out with my niece and nephew.

...The Smell of Spring!...

It's finally warming up and by warming up I mean high 40 degrees. But I will take it!!! 

Not to be confused with the ability to tell if it's currently raining (Mean Girls reference)... I can smell when it's going to snow and when Spring is right around the corner!  Both equally awesome things. 

I love the snow. I grew up in PA, it was a state requirement. But after a long, cold, and snowy winter there is nothing more invigorating than the smell of Spring! 

I hope you are able to get out and enjoy this slightly warmer-than-yesterday weather! And hopefully it will stay sunny for Easter this weekend!

... Hair cut...

Much needed! My hair is getting to the point of getting stuck in doors, chairs, you name it! 

So I am thinking of just under my shoulders on length and keeping it all one length... I can never pull off layers as badly as I wish I could.  

I WISH!!! 

Layers are right up there with curly and wavy... Never gonna happen! Straight Hair problems!

I have tried before and not made it past the third week... But my BF is threatening to take away the gym, aka my false sense of fitness! 

So I have to get back on the horse... Or the treadmill in this case... And get through it!! 

It's only 9 weeks and really, what's 9 weeks in a lifetime anyway?! A blink of an eye! So here I go! I'll keep you posted! 

...L.L. Bean...

OK, let me explain!

So in my Office, we are kind of required to carry a very specific brand of hand bags and no, I don't work for L.L. Bean.  Anyway... in probably some form of teenage rebellion everyone in my office carries a "Second Bag" (and yes we really call them that!)  Sometimes the bags are not even filled, could just have one or two little things.  The purpose: to carry some other brand that is not that "very specific brand" and show our individual personality and style.

Ready for the ironic part in a complete effort to be "different" from each other, we have all started to carry, buy for each other, and monogram the exact same bag!

I was not ready to fit in yet.  I really did want to be different!!! So I carry a gorgeous LV Bag (C/O my amazing BF!)

But then I saw the Camo version!  And I had to have it!!!!!

I am not a Camo girl, at all!  But for some reason this was just different enough that I wanted it!  So I went on line and to my very impatient personality's demise, it was on back order until the end of May.  And as I am sure you can imagine, I expressed my disappointment at the Office and only a day later (still have no clue how she did it!) my boss gave me the Camo Large L.L. Bean Bag!

I love it! It is light weight and roomy enough for everything I could ever want to carry!  And in a cool off-trend kind of way it totally works with my Alma!

...need one! And I don't want to use the PC that my BF plays his Rome Total War Game on! (Yes, I'm very sad that I even know the name of that game!) I have an iPad and an iPhone and a MacBook from college. But as the title states I LOVE presents!!! 

So i got one!!!!!

I've been feeling pretty low and trying to figure out how to pull myself up... Well the temperature is flirting with 40 degrees, and yes for someone in the northeast, this is exciting news!

The sun has come out and I'm feeling better!

I used to not care for March, it was just one more cold month. But now I have come to appreciate it! It's like a new day has started and it a sunny one!
