It does so much!
Multiple photos with one touch, video and photos at the same time (awesome!) and it has a great retro look!!!

So as predicated, I would miss the love of my life. We haven't been apart for a long time in a long time. We are only apart for three days. I'm almost done day one and let's just say thank god I am getting presents tomorrow!
Well Boyfriend (his selected nickname) I miss you like Hell!!!! See you on Tuesday!

...instagram...
So I am in love with taking photos. In fact that was the best part, in my opinion, about twitter. Who cares what you are doing. We want to know what you are seeing. And to top it off we wanna see it the way you wish you saw it.
"Instagram allows a photographer to tell a personal story about their life. Each photo is a moment that's been specially chosen."
I want to see the old man dressed up on the subway heading to no-one-knows. I want to see the little kid making a face because her little brother just farted at the dinner table (ok, only if she's my niece!)
But there isn't one day that goes by that I don't think to myself I wish I could share this with everyone I know! Yes, I understand only about two out of The Everyone would actually want to see, but that would certainly not stop me from making it pop-up on their news feed!! :-)
So freinds, family, and stalkers come check out my instagram!

...candy canes...
So I have been feeling all week long that Christmas is over... sad I know. Well today was/is a long day. I didn't get a chance to get breakfast or even a cup of coffee...crazy I know! But what was sitting on my desk from last week's festivities? A Candy Cane! Was a total life saver and got me to lunch time...2pm.
But this sugar high left me thinking about where candy canes came from.
So here's the story...
According to a popular account, in 1670, in Cologne, Germany, the choirmaster at Cologne Cathedral, wishing to remedy the noise caused by children in his church during the Living Crèche tradition of Christmas Eve, asked a local candy maker for some sweet sticks for them. In order to justify the practice of giving candy to children during worship services, he asked the candy maker to add a crook to the top of each stick, which would help children remember the shepherds who paid visit to infant Jesus. In addition, he used the white color of the converted sticks to teach children about the Christian belief in the sinless life of Jesus. From Germany, the candy canes spread to other parts of Europe, where they were handed out during plays reenacting the Nativity.
Not sure about you but this was the first holiday candy I can recall. And it was all just an elaborate way of shutting the kids up when the parents wanted quiet! Well I am on to my next candy cane!
I wish everyone magical and happy holidays! (Full of candy canes!)
...Bahamas....
Two months and counting!
All I need right now is a sunny beach to lie on!
So if you are like me you love the concept of the Winter. There's snow, Christmas, and snuggling with your someone special. Well I had one of the best...scratch that....I had the best summer of my life last summer. I went to Charleston, South Carolina; all over Italy; and Santorini, Greece. We had half-day Fridays at work and it was always light out when I left the office. I am from PA I grew up going and leaving school in the dark. But something clicked this past summer...I just feel in love with warm weather. This is probably due to all the fun and relaxing times it brings.
Well this Present's Day Weekend we are going to the Bahamas!!!!! I am so excited. But here's the catch, I am not a fan of the ocean, throw me in a pool and you won’t be able to get me out, but the ocean! NO WAY! So I am working on getting past my fears of fish touching me and not being able to see to the bottom or the side (yes, I know there is not "side" but in pools there are!) I think the Bahamas are probably the best way to do this, I can see through the water, there will be a lot of people in the water, and my boyfriend knows I will kill him if something bad happens (so he will be doing everything in his power to prevent disaster.) Oh and let me add that my boyfriend loves the water! We were in Viareggio, Italy and I am balling my eyes out because I am waist deep in the Mediterranean Sea and can't see to the bottom, He is like a dolphin about 10 yards out without a care int he world!
WISH ME LUCK!
(Pool with a swim-up bar, here I come!) :-)

...emerald cut stones....
So to my Boyfriend's dismay.... my current jewelry addiction are Emerald Cut Stones...
And let's be honest, what girl is not constantly thinking about The Ring.
The Emerald Cut is....understated elegance. The word “emerald” comes from the ancient Greek word for “green." The legend tells that in ancient Greece, emerald diamonds rings were used for restoring poor vision, as well as temporary relief of stress. Cleopatra, the queen of Egypt between 69-30 B.C., was a huge admirer of Emerald.
I am always looking at engagement rings and any jewelry in general. I work and live jewelry. I've had jewelry my entire life, but nothing compared to Rings for me. I have been wearing rings since I was five years old. Either hearts (grade 1-6) or dolphins (from a trip to Hawaii) or feathers (from a trip to Arizona). Always on my ring figure. So I guess you could say that I was prepping for the day that I would get to have one ring for the rest of my life (don't tell my Boyfriend! (He already knows...hehe))
So my addiction comes from the final decision that the rings that I cannot get enough of are emerald cut. They are classic and important. They feel like an heirloom and will go with everything. I will hopefully never look down one day say "How pissed is he going to be if I asked to trade this in?!"
As you could guess I have photos of my favorites! See below.
...blogs...
So my addiction today is blogs...
I decide that I should stop wishing I could create one... and just create one!
I have always liked keeping a journal, but of course, as I hope other people are, I was never the best with keeping up with it. There was nothing in my life that I ever thought was interesting enough to me that I would want to hear about it in the future. But it was the stuff going on around me and the way I reacted to them that I wanted to write (or tape) down. I am somewhat of a collector....certainly not a hoarder...just ask my boyfriend, I make him throw everything, I can, away! But I like to keep the things that remind me of the "Good Stuff."
So here we go... here are some of my favorite Blogs of the moment.
