...short weeks...

...Happy Monday Tuesday...

I love short weeks! The end of the week always feels like getting an early present!

I hope you had a wonderful long weekend!  Our was full of friends, mini golf, and eating!

...juice cleansing...

I have been a huge fan of juice cleansing for many years.  I have tried a few different brands.  My favorite, as I have mentioned in the past, is BluePrint Cleanse.

BluePrint has recently added a bunch of new flavors, but I am a true believer in their original cleanse options, my favorite is the "Foundation" cleanse.  This option has three green juices throughout the day with a few tasty juices in-between to break up it up.  My favorite is the "P.A.M." pineapple, apple, mint!

I splurge on buying juices and cleanse packages, instead of making them at home, for one simple reason, convenience.  One green juice is six pounds of leafy greens.  Now I don't know about you, but juicing 18 pounds of leafy greens for only one day of cleansing, let alone the other juice that you would need to make to account for the balance of calories, is not something I have the time or energy for.  So I splurge and let someone else do the hard work for me.  Juice cleansing is hard enough!

I will be juice cleansing after the holiday, needing to get back on the wagon after all the BBQ & beer.

Happy Memorial Day!!!

...polaroid...

...when I heard the polaroid camera was back, I thought it was the big clunky version from my very early childhood (i.e. Clueless).  But after a quick trip to Amazon, I saw the polaroid is completely reimagined into the "Fujifilm Instax."

There are many different styles and color options. I went the classic route, you know, to go along with the throwback theme.

Though not my preferred photography style, the polaroid offers a great quick option for prints.

...little things...

...during this week of appointments and overcast afternoons, the little things are getting me through.

This lip gloss
*it is very smooth and moisturizing

Finally watching "The First Monday in May"
*I highly recommend!

And the promise of over 80 degree weather for the rest of the week!
*I see our rooftop and a bottle(s) of wine in my future

I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

...date night at home...

...hubby is an amazing cook, and always makes a great meal for us!

every meal needs bread....right?

Last Friday night it was filet mignon for me and bison for hubby.  There is always a wonderful time of prepping for the meal that leads to drinking and snacking.

After we are done devouring the amazing food, it is usually cards and conversation.  If we really want to annoy the neighbors, it's guitar playing and singing!  (we are currently working on our set list for a family trip to the shore this coming fall)

What is your menu for date night at home?

...Loopy Doopy...

...last week I was able to cross an item off my neighborhood bucket-list.

The Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar has always been something I wanted to try, with its fun cocktail popsicles and convenient proximity to our apartment.

Happy Monday!

...splurge or save...

...today I have two super-saves for you!!!

This past weekend, while home for some R&R, I went to Targert (because of course!) and I found two pairs of shoes that I had been coveting for quite some time.  Both pairs being from very high-end brands, and very trend focused (a.k.a. I will only wear them for one or two seasons), I was excited to find these wonderful budget-conscious options.
